Man, great review!!! I'm just now seeing this in 2024 but still very relevant today. Think I'm going to add a set of vex 10's in their own little sealed enclosure, behind my seats. Thinking it would add that punchy, tight bass from a kick drum. My zv6's for lower hz, and these for those low mids that the Uv2 really shines on. But once you go zv6 or bigger, can't look back! Very good video I’m an electrician I know how to use a multimeter, but I didn’t quite know what I needed to do to troubleshoot my system and did not want to pay an audio shop $85-$100 an hour to troubleshoot. It’s a new system. Everything is brand new except for the RCA cables. I wanted to be able to troubleshoot without tearing the unit out of the dash And this video helps out a lot. I appreciate it. Thank you so much soon as I get the chance I’m gonna put this new knowledge to use.

I know this is old video. But do u think this would be good to pour into a cars trunk lid? I like how hard it is, but u said its very light in weight. I need to get trunk lid heavy and rigid. Guess ill have to use vibroflex

That's some crazy power on that subwoofer, Derek. I guessed 150db around the low wattage test, but in the high wattage test, that's gonna be hard since the dust cap came off on you guys.

I was curious on the specific terms and purpose of my bass knob for my smb. I have always been able to adjust the “boost” max to whatever I set my amp to or lower the gain.i would max it when I set my gain never to go over and clip. With my sundown knobs it seems to have a 2/3 no effect. Then instantly will seem like it just kicked on and will have a response. But when I turn back down it hits that mark and it just basically sounds like it cut off the gain. Could you help me with what I’m tuning or wiring wrong to not get a response signal to adjust my bass knob when j need to usually just need to slightly reduce the bass but it just drops off on me. Thanks i appreciate it, and sorry if it’s a stupid question.

Sorry to bother anyone. Any links on how the box build went. Been 5 years now. Still haven't learned winiSD. Guess that time is now. I have 2 Hutchinson Origin 8's in a supercrew 2010 f150. Dont use the back seat. FOSGATE Power Punch 1k one ohm, papers said it does 2400 watts clean.
